How does NetLinker handle email with mulitdrop mode?
If you get a static IP address at
your ISP, you can chose ETRN mail server mode. This option does not require you to set up
a specific mailbox at your ISP. Your ISP only needs to add a MX record for your mail
server.
With multi-drop mode, NetLinker will retrieve mail from your ISP s mail server and
forward it to local delivery system. All mail addressed to anyone at your domain name,
e.g. yourcompany.com, is stored in the multi-drop mailbox (e.g. yourcompanymailbox)
at your ISP, waiting to be fetched. NetLinker's Mail Server then sorts and forwards the
e-mail messages from the multidrop account to the corresponding mailboxes on the
NetLinker.
